Kids/Family Programs
WHAT SOME PARENTS ARE SAYING
Since starting Taekwondo lessons, Tuan has developed more self confidence. He has been able to focus more on his homework and academic tasks. Tuan has begun to take responsibility in helping with the household chores. His strength, coordination, and stamina have increased. We also have noticed a decrease in his asthma related symptoms. Taekwondo has been a positive experience for Tuan and our family. We are thankful for the wonderful instruction that he has received at Kwon s, and we highly recommend their program.

"I'm very pleased with the special 'Tiny Tigers' program for 4 to 5 year-olds. My son was diagnosed with strabismus (crossed-eyes) at a young age. As a result he was very clumsy and not able to use his large muscle groups well. I feel that TKD Tiny Tigers has really helped him catch-up with his peers."

When our family first moved to Massachusetts we rented an apartment in Lowell. My son Timmy, at the time 4 years old, expressed an interest in karate. Not knowing anything in the area we looked in the phone book and selected a few places at random to check out. Kwon?s was our first stop and our search was over! The positive atmosphere and expert instruction were evident from the start. Timmy couldn?t wait to go the Tae Kwon Do! Unfortunately for Timmy, a few months later we decided to purchase a home in Acton and had to leave Kwon?s. Timmy tried other sports but team activities just weren?t for him, he really wanted to get back to ?karate?. We tried several schools in the area, but none even compared to Kwon?s. Timmy wanted to go back to Master Kwon?s school. Despite the half hour commute, we have returned, and it has been well worth the drive. Timmy has begun training seriously again, and is motivated by all of the incentives offered for doing his best. He can?t wait to get home to show his dad every time he earns a new tip for his belt. He is so proud to wear the stars on his uniform that he gets for doing well at both school and home. He wore his medal proudly that he received at the first belt ceremony, and is really working hard to get a trophy for his efforts. Kwon?s has made such an amazing impact on our son. He is much more positive, exercises more and is more responsible at home. Not to sound too cliché, but in all honestly, "there's no place like Kwon's!"

Taekwondo helps to keep my children active, physically. It teaches them discipline and how to respect authority. It gives them a sense of confidence and well-being.?
