WHAT FAMILIES ARE SAYING

Our Love for Taekwondo: My name is Agustin Mendoza and I am 57 years old and my grandson, Felix is 8 years old. We love martial arts, Taekwondo has taught us to be a better person and respect our family, friends, neighbors, school, country, masters and most of all respect for ourselves. In my younger years, back in the 1980's I practiced Taekwondo with Master Lee, a long time friend. He moved away to another state and I was devastated. I continued to practice all he had taught me and I am very happy to say I returned to school again here in Lunenburg, Ma. to Grandmaster Kwon's school where I will continue to practice Taekwondo. Grandmaster Kwon convinced me that you are never too old to exercise and practice martial arts.

"Taekwondo has changed my life by teaching me self-control and self-discipline. Taekwondo has taught me sportsmanship. I look forward to teaching the tiny tigers each week. I am proud of my assistant instructor patch. I enjoy my time at Taekwondo summer camp each year. Taekwondo is like a second family."

Hi, we are the Ryan Family. To us, Taekwondo not only means spending quality time together, but a great learning experience for our family. It takes commitment, dedication, loyalty, and lots of hard work to achieve success in the world of martial arts. Ed, now a 4th Dan, has been attending Kwon's for more than 11 years, Ellen came on board in 2005, and together they were able to bring back Billy (16) and Amy (13) to rejoin the self-defense program. We have great respect for all that Grandmaster Kwon and his staff has taught us, and we look forward to each and every class we attend. Taekwondo is a lifestyle, one of which we are proud to be a part of.

"This is what I think about Kwon's Taekwondo.  Taekwondo has affected my life because it made me more confident in school and it made some of my shyness go away.  Another way Taekwondo has affected my schooling is by improving my grades and by teaching me to be more serious with my education. The running made me quicker and it made me get use to running for a long period of time. Another thins I like is that all the people there are friendly, kind and helpful.  I really admire Taekwondo because I think it is a very healthy fitness program along with self defense and sparring. I think they will help me someday in the future, and I plan on continuing Taekwondo for a long time.  I think that this is the best Taekwondo ever, and I think that other people should join too! I want to thank Master Kwon and Instructor Jayne for making it possible for me and for helping me in Taekwondo. Those were the thins I thought about Taekwondo."

"Taekwondo training has improved Brett's physical fitness and self-confidence. It has given him, and his grandfather, a common interest and a bon. They have always enjoyed spending time together, now they enjoy working out together!"
