What is Ho Kwon Do?
Ho Kwon Do is a complete form of martial arts and self-defense system created by Grandmaster Young A. Kwon. Ho Kwon Do utilized joint locks, pressure points, throws, kicks, hand strikes and blocks. Also uses long-range techniques, short-range techniques and speed techniques.

A MESSAGE FROM GRANDMASTER YOUNG A. KWON
Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to visit Kwon's Taekwondo Martial Arts website. Our school is dedicated to making your child's martial arts experience enjoyable, satisfying and rewarding! We strive to create a positive, "YES I CAN" environment that will help set a solid foundation for future success and happiness in your child's life by teaching and practicing fundamentals critical for building healthy bodies and strong minds.
Our system integrates and utilizes your child's school teachers and your direct involvement as a parent, teaching the child to learn to be personally accountable and responsible for their own actions and decision making by establishing good habits and consistently charting their progress . Shortly, you'll get a chance to read about what some of the parents of Kwon's kids have to say about our 5 Star/Gold medal incentive and rewards' component of the program.
The youngest child we enroll is 3 years of age. Children at this age are generally very interested in physical “play” and seek positive reinforcement. The Tiny Tigers Level 1 and the Tiny Tigers Level 2 are geared toward 3 to 5. These programs help children build the necessary skills to develop a strong mental and physical foundation in a positive, safe, non-threatening environment. Our 30 minute class keeps children focused in a fun and structural setting taught by easy to understand instructional methods. After 6 months, students graduate from the Tiny Tigers Level 1 into the Tiny Tigers Level 2 . Children who join our studios after age 6 are eligible to enter one of the many other programs offered.
Regardless of what challenges your children are faced with today, we know exactly how to develop thier confidence, self-esteem, focus, self control and character.
